4–20 mA to RS232 Module – 5V Power Supply

This module provides the interface between a 4–20 mA signal and the RS232 interface of a repeater. Powered by 5V, it converts standard industrial current into serial data that can be used by connected equipment.

Compact and easy to integrate, it is ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable transmission of analog measurements to a serial interface.

  1. Set the sensor to its minimum value.
  2. Activate DIP switch 1.
  3. Set the value to be displayed using the push button:
    • Press < 0.7 s: increment the digit
    • Press 0.7 to 2 s: decrement the digit
    • Press > 2 s: move to the next digit
  4. Deactivate DIP switch 1.
  5. Set the sensor to its maximum value.
  6. Activate DIP switch 2.
  7. Set the value to be displayed using the push button (same procedure as above).
  8. Deactivate DIP switch 2.
